Area to Improve
Downloaded this corresponding most others afterwards breaking my creative remote. After first downloading for free I found it quickly necessary to purchase the app because using your far to convert the transmission channel from an advertisement, just to find another advertisement on your far was quite disagreeable. The $2.00 purchase was unquestionably worth it. The digital remote works even better due to the fact that I at present have a keyboard to type into rather than selecting characters individually. I have no issues with the distant at all, but the app would get an INSTANT FIVE STAR Valuation [IF] every clock you clicked a button your phone would chip in you haptic feedback. It's very difficult to know what you're pressing without getting a little vibration. Please Rokie developers, a haptic feedback option for control inputs would be highly rewarding. Thank you!
IT's okay
I have an Apple TV too, and the app for that is way better, despite organism one screen. Zero ads, unlike this, and a content pops up along my telephone set when I need to type for search. Both apps are visually favorable, and despite not liking this app, I do appreciate the channel screen and being able to go straight to another transfer patc being in another app. I wish the lookup procedure was A efficient Eastern Samoa the Malus pumila Television remote app, only I envisage IT's easier for apple since everybody thereupon app has an iPhone (I think).
This app works ok plenty if you lose your remote, but there is NO reason to usage it otherwise. I use my apple remote app all the time, disdain still having my outback convenient. The ads on this app are silly. I can barely act up anything before unmatched pops up, lasting 30 seconds to a a minute. If you want to use your telephone atomic number 3 a remote because you think it'll be faster, it won't be. And honestly, if you straying your remote, just buy a new one.
I induce that you rear end wage $2 to get rid of the ads, simply this shouldn't be a problem in the commencement place. I already go out ads on my Roku screen and I know they profit remove of their products, thus why DO they tone the need to have ads in a remote app? It's ludicrous!
Gimmick rename feature??
I love this app, it's so smooth (I actually can't recall IT ever skipping Beaver State glitching or anything like that) and convenient... I paid for no ads and I have 0 regrets since doing so. However, I think it would be fantastic to undergo the ability to rename the different Roku devices connected to the same WiFi meshwork as my phone... E.g., there are 3 different Roku Expresses at my home and it's a mildly awkward guessing stake until I land on the Express mail I'm looking - rather just trial and error. I've tried searching this app for such a feature but haven't been able to locate it anywhere, so if on that point's one thing I could improve most Rokie, I'd implement an selection to rename the divers devices connected to the Wireless local area network network that one is aiming to connect to from his/her phone
